Role Description: 

The Junior Graphic Designer will be the Lead Designer’s co-captain, steering the ship when it comes to creating all things Yellow – both for clients and in-house. From SEO-approved aesthetically-pleasant banners to creating beautiful websites, you will be working on a diverse portfolio of local clients.

Qualifications:

  •  A Degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent

Experience: 

  • An understanding of design principles with the ability to apply them to a range of projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience in this role will be considered an asset
  • A Design Portfolio will be considered an asset
  • Training will be provided on the job
Role Responsibilities:
  • Work within the Marketing Team to ensure websites follow the best SEO industry practises
  • Prioritise and manage own workload
  • Meet with customers to understand their needs and create appropriate solutions that adhere to their brand identity
  • Create banners booked by our clients which will feature on local news portals
  • Contribute to any other creative projects as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and trends to create designs that are innovative and original
Skills: 
  • A flair for design, creativity and imagination
  • Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining quality
  • Be open-minded, self-motivated and active with an innate thirst for learning
  • Fluent in spoken and written Maltese and English Languages
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles
