Junior Web Designer

We are on the lookout for a Junior Web Designer with a passion for creativity and a love for meeting new people. If you are a down-to-earth and hardworking individual looking for a rewarding full-time position, you will fit right in with us at Yellow.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing, handling, conceptualising and finalising websites for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Meet with customers regularly to understand their needs and create appropriate solutions that adhere to their brand identity
  • Execute all design stages from start to finish
  • Provide maintenance solutions on existing client websites
  • Create and present innovative design ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to the consumer
  • Present design concepts and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders
  • Work within the Marketing and Fulfilment Team to ensure websites follow the best SEO industry practices
  • Create and present new ideas to improve clients’ web experience for prospects, leads, and customers
  • Create and optimise web project management solutions by implementing high standards of web development and design
  • Create banners booked by our clients which will feature on local news portals
  • Create animations when needed

Skills:

  • A flair for design, creativity and imagination 
  • Ability to hit all deadlines and improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality 
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development web programming languages (HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript)
  • Tertiary level in Graphic/Web Design with proven specialisation in UI/UX
  • Knowledge of CMS standards and functionality 
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and other design tools
