Job Title: Sales Manager

Role Description 

The Sales Manager will lead the team of Sales Specialists, providing strategic direction and day-to-day management to achieve the company’s sales objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of managing and motivating a sales team, ensuring the smooth operation and continued growth of the sales department.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.

  • Set sales targets, monitor team performance, and report on key metrics.

  • Recruit the right people to form part of the Sales Team.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to improve their skills and achieve targets.

  • Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing sales representatives.

  • Present sales revenue and forecasts to senior management.

  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitive landscape.

  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies and procedures.

  • Manage and oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing.

  • Attend client meetings with sales representatives as needed.

  • Manage client accounts as required.

  • Oversee CRM data management and ensure accurate data entry by the team.

Attitude & Attributes

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, with at least 2 years in a management position.

  • A Degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing or a Master’s Degree In Business Administration. 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team to achieve their targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Client-oriented and target-driven attitude.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage work efficiently.

  • Passionate about learning and growing within the role.

  • Winning mentality and a sense of ownership.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (UK).

  • Fluency in spoken Maltese is considered an asset.

  • Valid driving license.
